Berlin’s Midnight In A Toyshop aka Mørbeck delivers the ‘Dreams For Sale’ EP this May on a white and red marbled 12’’, comprised of four dreamy, lo-fi leaning House cuts. Since 2011, the Berlin born and raised producer and DJ Mørbeck has been delivering numerous acclaimed Techno releases via Vault Series and his own Code Is Law imprint as well as making his mark on the global club scene as a DJ. Fast forward to 2023 and we see Mørbeck inaugurate his house guise, Midnight In A Toyshop, aimed to showcase his passion for House productions in a lighter shade, whilst still retaining his signature rawness.
We have the first play of ‘Dreams For Sale’ – with Trance tinged staccato melodies, cinematic atmospherics, acid licks and a heavily swung rhythm:
