Following the release of Creating Space, the epic, 17-track LP from FO boss Longstocking we are very excited about the return of Longstocking’s Feral One Records with a second instalment of its Seattle Compilation, shining a spotlight on a selection of the city’s rich and diverse electronic talents.
Spanning multiple genres and styles, the rich, in-depth compilation once again sees a mixture of emerging and established talent unite, building on Volume 1, which brought music from Tony H, Simon Houser, Snapdragon and many more.
The scene is strong. The scene is diverse, and Seattle Volume 2 demonstrates this truth with a connective tissue of serene melodies (and one foghorn tech house banger, but those are still welcome on the dancefloor)
One of our favourite tracks from the release, electronic DJ/producer Rachel Vick a Seattle favourite, brings bumpy drums and resonant stabs beneath alluring vocals for a jacking-meets-deep house cut full of flavour.
