People Of The Light continue their fine run of form as the summer season arrives with Subjacent’s ‘Elward’ EP. The San Francisco/Philly based female duo have caused quite the stir offering up a blend of techno and melodic with recent works gaining support of John Digweed, Tom Pooks & Emanate to name a few. They are joined on ‘Elward’ with Just Her and label head honcho Jay Hill who both step up on remix duty.
We have the first play of Jay Hill’s acid infused atmospheric rework, stripping back the original version of “Elward” with echoing drum hits, warm pads and a raw electro tinged bass line:
