Red Pig Flower delivers her ‘We Need Space’ EP via Switzerland’s Adam’s Bite this October, comprising four original compositions from the Korean-Japanese artist. We have the first play of “That Feeling”, a deep house cut with murky atmospherics, vocal chants and gritty stabs at its core, underpinned by a bouncy stab led bass groove and crisp, crunchy drums.
The past decade has seen Red Pig Flower’s unfaltering drive and ambition as a producer and DJ take her across the globe to play at hotspots all over, from Berlin’s Panorama Bar and Hoppetosse to Tokyo’s WOMB, Concrete Bar Seoul, Pikes Ibiza and beyond. On top of this Red Pig Flower has a growing back catalogue of releases and co-runs the Tokyo based Sound Of Vast imprint alongside Knock. Here though, we see Red offering up her new EP via Swiss imprint Adam’s Bite, home to music from the likes of Nu Zau, Barac, Cristi Cons, Traumer and Ion Ludwig, a perfect home for her psychedelia infused stripped back house sound.
