Music blog SEKOIA has been curating and promoting the most blissed out and cutting edge deep house and techno for a number of years, so it was only a matter of time before they turned their talents to releasing music instead of recommending it.. and the debut offering on their fledgling imprint Depth Over Distance, suggests that it will contain the same level of quality as SEKOIA.

With clear influences from ambient, funk, and jazz, Dutch producer Eversines has offered the perfect opening release for the label, with four credible jams covering the spectrum of deep electronic music, from the acid fuelled dubs of ‘Transition Portal’ and ‘Vultures’, to the celestial closing pads of ‘The Other Side’. But it is the opening track ‘Pyramids’ that is our clear favourite. Melodic & emotional but with enough grit and drive for the dancefloor, it has early morning anthem written all over it.

Paired with striking Salvador Dali style artwork, this release is stunning both musically and visually and will be sold as a limited edition run of 150 vinyl, including a free digital download.
