Berlin-based electronic musician Apparat – aka Sascha Ring– presents a selection of his soaring scores for film and theatre on 7th November at London’s Barbican Theatre.

Ever the innovator, Ring has recently begun a new scope of activity within the theatre world, which included composing the music for the 2012 production of Tolstoy’s War and Peace by innovative and influential German theatre director Sebastian Hartmann, later released as an album on Mute.

On the back of the success of this project, he has since also worked on a number of film scores, including the recent score for Mario Martones’s film Il Giovane Favoloso, presenting a selection of this work at this show in it’s full, swirling, mesmerising glory.
