One half of UK duo PaperMacheTiger, Mick Wilson, teams up with Get Physical and Kindisch artist August Artier for their 3rd instalment in the ‘Kisetsu’ Series, dropping on the digital arm of German vinyl imprint RAWAX. The Kisetsu Series brings a sophisticated musical balance spread over the course of four releases, gaining its inspiration from Japanese culture, the E.Ps Haru, Natsu, Aki and Fuyu each reflects one of the four seasons which defines each E.P.
Here Mick Wilson & August Artier deliver the third instalment in the form of the ‘Aki’ EP – consisting of four originals (‘9′, ’10’, ’11’ & ’12’) blurring the lines between Dub techno, Acid and House, with a club orientated sound, but enough subtle and delicate details to provide a deep listening experience.
We have the first play of ‘9’, a lovely deep cut with scattered grooves and ambient soundscapes:
