The german duo Slow Hearts have become regulars on the impressive Crossfrontier Audio and have quickly turned heads with their unique and emotive sound. We caught up with them, ahead of their EP release on the label and guest slot on the radio show.
What is the concept behind Slow Hearts and how did you come up with the name?
The Name Slow Hearts coming from a Avatism track we are really like and fits perfectly for our melodic deep sound.
You guys were previously working as ‘einsauzwei’ – what made you decide to start a new project and are you still continuing with einsauzwei too?
The project einsauszwei will continue to exist , currently , we have made a remix for the label Motek. Our sound has become more melodic, so we thought it´s better to start a new project .

Do you guys ever work solo, or do you work only as a duo?
We have always Collaborated as a duo.
Andre is more the producer, even though we both have to like all the things 100%. Uwe takes care of bookings, social media stuff and DJ sets. The division is perfect. In the club, we work as a DJ team.
What has been the most crazy or interesting gig you have had since you have been performing together?
The craziest gig was in Brussels Club The Wood. The location was in the forest and the people were so open and crazy about our sound.
We have some remixes coming soon on Ritter Butzke Studio and Cross Frontier Audio. And an EP on Constant Circles!
Tell us about your guest mix on CC radio – how did you put it together and what is included in there? any exclusives or surprises?
We were searching for special tracks with soul and took a lot of time for this special mix, we included two tracks from us and we hope you enjoy our sound.
The Slow Hearts EP will be out late August with a remix from Radeckt and you can hear them on Episode 032 of our radio show.
