Over the past two decades, as Global Underground has grown to release over 40 genre defining compilations. Central to the UK label’s milestone year is a 50-track compilation, titled TWENTY, containing tunes from the likes of Moby, Sasha, Dixon, Dubfire, UNKLE, Booka Shade and Simian Mobile Disco. The label says the selection “looks back at the finest moments in GU’s history,” with well-known tracks and remixes plus one disc devoted to new music.

The track is already making it’s mark and we have some exciting news we shall be sharing with you all very soon! The compilation is available on vinyl, CD and digital format.

The deluxe version of TWENTY comes with a 112-page photography book of images captured by Dean Belcher. Belcher’s work for Global Underground will be on display at an exhibition at Edwin Jeans Exhibition Space in Brick Lane, London, running from October 28th through November 10th.


With this vault of imagery at their disposal, label owner Andy Horsfield and photographer Dean Belcher have charged themselves with the task of creating a series of pictures that perfectly encapsulates the 20 year history of not only the iconic Global Underground label, but electronic music as a whole. The end result forms a dramatic visual snapshot of evolving youth culture throughout the world.
