Bruise is UK-based artist, Christian Campbell, who broke out in epic fashion back in 2020 with ‘Grand Hi’, a pounding piano house anthem that featured in many DJs’ end-of-year charts, The Guardian’s Best of 2020, and was even synced in GTA 5. After that release on R&S offshoot Meda Fury Records came more on Faith, Nu Groove and Ross Allen’s Foundation Music, support from tastemakers as diverse as The Blessed Madonna, Carl Craig and Giles Peterson and more than one ‘Essential New Tune’ award from Pete Tong. All this means Campbell is very much at the heart of the contemporary house scene and brings great invention to this fresh new EP on Jagged Angels, which is named in homage to the lead track from his debut EP, ‘Presentation’.

People Dance EP delivers four chunky underground cuts, from warm house to raw peak time acid, showcasing Bruises’ well honed production skills.
