CC loves Marc Chagall; he was born in Belarus in 1887, and moved to Paris in 1910. With him, he brought his childhood memories of the village of Vitebsk. His surrealist paintings explored his childhood and the vivid images of his early life.
Throughout his prolific career, he repeated certain images such as various animals, particularly goats; weddings and angels regularly featured in his works.
Always, the images had a dreamlike, ethereal quality as if dredged from Chagalls unconscious mind.
