After our premiere of Delu_loop a couple of months ago, Sika has continued his prolific rollout of self-releases through his own Intervals imprint. The latest offering, a double a-side by the name of Avanti / Ecco, dropped on 12th June.
The first track, Avanti, delves a little further into quirky electronica than Sika’s work to date, and has already picked up BBC R1 support through Jaguar’s Introducing Dance show. Ecco also draws inspiration from ’90s electronica, but leans further into euphoria and psychedelia through stunning synths and vocal chops, resulting in a warm, uplifting product that feels perfectly suited to the summer months.
