“Noone can be free if they are forced to be like others” is the tagline of steadily emerging record label Be Free Recordings. Based in Italy, they have been around since 2011 and have coined releases and remixes from a wealth of talent including Him_Self_Her, Soul Button, Talul and Toky.

10869516_912187215500698_5529081155617735747_oBe Free’s latest offering has seemingly pushed the quality of their music to new heights, with relative newcomers Julien Piacentino and Philip Pioge delivering two original tracks that are deep, emotive and beautifully crafted soundscapes.

Add to this a selection of remixes to provide something for every set and dancefloor, and this release is sure to make waves in the coming weeks.

First off Anton Dhouran works a deeper groove into the lead track ‘Blue Flower’ and delivers a breakdown that is reminiscent of Ibizan sunrises.

The second track, “Harmonics’, gets two excellent reworks by Qbeck and Rafael Cerato, with QBeck’s take on this track being a beautifully stripped down and edgy slice of deep techno.

But there is no doubt that the standout remix in the package comes from Rafael Cerato. As a member of the Diynamic family, Rafael has already proved his worth, and as expected, he takes ‘Harmonics’ and sculpts it into a techno dancefloor bomb.
