Trippy analogue goodness is the order of the day from Torolf Stendik, in his latest EP on Electric Appliances – a raw and forward-thinking take on modern electro, with a side helping of nostalgic breakbeat and acid.

Across five stellar original cuts, the Enerji EP navigates the space where past machines meet future pressure. One track reaches back more than 20 years, rebuilt and recharged over the last year, while the other four emerged from live jam sessions — captured in the moment and sharpened with minimal post-production and hands-on beat coding. Stripped of excess and focused on physical impact, Energi is a statement of intent: direct, functional, and unapologetically hands-on.

We have the first play of “Energi Laddare”, a driving but melodic breakbeat gem, filled with acid textures, restless rhythms, a killer bassline and a raw pulse designed for late-night systems:

Released on Moodmusic / Electric Appliances, Energi EP also marks the beginning of a milestone
period for the label: Moodmusic celebrates its 30-year anniversary in 2026, continuing a legacy
of forward-thinking electronic music rooted in independence, longevity, and trust in the
underground. Energi EP drops February 13 and is available digitally and as a four-track 12” vinyl, pressed for those who still trust wax over algorithms.
