Philippa returns to her At Peace imprint this September with the ‘Sleep All Day’ EP, following on from the inaugural release on the label in June.
Producer and DJ Philippa was born and raised in New Zealand and was an integral part of the electronic music scene on her home turf for two decades; now residing in Berlin, Germany, she’s taken steps to spread her musical knowledge and productions to a wider audience courtesy of her fledgling imprint, At Peace. The label’s and her own debut EP was released in June 2019 and saw support from many leading figures in both the classic and contemporary house scene, thanks to Philippa’s tasteful, authentic and soulful approach towards the genre.
The EP features two beautiful original tracks but we have the first play of ‘Dragonfly’ – a dynamic and mellifluent deep house cut, with swirling vocal chants, bright piano samples and choppy, jazz- tinged double bass hits, alongside an organic, swinging drum groove:
